Defra has created a scheme administrator PackUK to work with all four nations and alongside the Environment Agency to work on and develop the Extended Producer Responsibility scheme and systems. Large producers will have to submit their data by 1st April 2025 and pay their ‘due’ fees for 2024 packaging put onto the market in October 2025. Small producers, for now, will only have to submit data by 1st April 2025.
