Our Local Community

We make efforts to positively impact our local community by supporting and contributing to the following:

Olney town flower display – Templecoombe Ltd sponsors a lamp post each year

Olney town Christmas Decorations – Templecombe Ltd sponsors a tree each year

Newport Pagnell & Olney Lions Club – Templecoombe Ltd sponsors one month in the local Lions calendar each year https://npolneylions.chessck.co.uk/Fundraising

Circus Starr – Templecoombe Ltd are proud to support Circus star by sponsoring 2 tickets each year for the local Milton Keynes show for vulnerable and disadvantaged children through the magical art of circus https://www.circus-starr.org.uk – Current Certificate of Thanks. We love supporting our community, and this accessible and inclusive event is such a worthy cause.

Sponsorship requests: Templecoombe Ltd prioritise ad hoc requests for fundraising sponsorship in the following order; our team, our suppliers & customers, local neighbours and community. Our most recent requests have been from a team member; to supply printed napkins to be used at a luncheon as part of a golfing charity day organised to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. The napkins were printed with the Alzheimer’s branding to help raise awareness whilst being of practical use at the event. We have also supported one of our customers who completed the South Coast challenge raising money for Pancreatic Cancer.

Ukrainian Evenings: Olney and the surrounding villages have a relatively large Ukrainian refugee community. Our building has hosted a few evening Socials to try and help welcome the families and one quiz evening as a fundraising event. Templecoombe Ltd also sponsored a concert in the local church where funds raised were split between a local group BAMK; who send much needed physical supplies out to Ukraine on a regular basis https://helpukrainebamk.uk/ and the national charity appeal DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal https://www.dec.org.uk/appeal/ukraine-humanitarian-appeal. We continue to donate and support Ukraine.

Community Projects: We donate to specific local projects as and when we can. Examples include the appeal to set up a local Olney Community Fridge and an appeal fundraising for the local schools to help with signage to prevent unsafe parking.
