Jute is a natural fibre, is durable and will be reused. Traditionally the jute bags have tended to have a plastic liner. Whilst the liner could theoretically be recycled, in practice it will unlikely get separated from the jute.
We are pleased to introduce this fully environmental jute bag. This has a natural starch lining to give it extra rigidity, as opposed to the plastic lining. Please be sure to specify at the time of enquiry that you would like this natural starch lining, along with a 100% cotton web handle. This will ensure the bag is fully biodegradable and compostable.
