Artwork Specification
We are happy to help with any queries or problems with regards to artwork. If you are unsure about any aspect, please email or phone, we will gladly help.
Ink Colours
All bag factories use the panone reference system for ink colour matching. It is advisable for you to provide us with the original pantone references your logo or artwork was actually designed in, this will result in the nearest possible ink match on your finished bags. If you do not have this, or are unable to obtain, please download the pantone chart to help you choose the pantone colour(s). Please remember everyone’s screen colour can vary hence the original pantone is the most accurate.
Finally please note that every print medium will affect the final colour. For example a brown kraft paper bag will darken and dull the ink colour whereas a white paper with a gloss laminate finish will lift and brighten a final colour.
NX Plates
The Kodak Flexcel NX Digital Flexographic System allows you to print the same high-quality image possible with gravure directly onto your Patch, Flexiloop and Duffle Handle Carrier Bags, overcoming many of the limitations of both analog and existing digital flexographic plate technologies.
Artwork Format
We strongly advise that artwork is supplied in the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress and Acrobat. All fonts should be converted to outlines. If this is not possible, your artwork may have to be redrawn.
Resolution
All raster artwork (non vector) should be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi, any artwork supplied lower than 300dpi may be blurred. If none of this means anything to you, don’t worry as all artwork submitted is priced on a job by job basis.
